Julia LeBlanc is an experienced communications and business development executive with international experience in corporate media relations, public relations, marketing, and brand-building initiatives in a wide spectrum of industries, including fine jewelry, art, architecture, and disaster relief/project management.

Fine Jewelry

Julia has overseen strategic operations and brand growth for renowned fine jewelry houses including David Yurman, Marco Bicego, and locally, Porter Lyons. In her executive leadership roles, she has driven cross-functional initiatives spanning corporate communications, marketing strategy, business development, and operational execution—spearheading everything from global press campaigns and media partnerships to high-impact events and organizational infrastructure.

Architecture

Julia led integrated communications, marketing, and business development efforts for Trahan Architects—named the #1 design firm by ARCHITECT Magazine—where she served as the strategic liaison between executive leadership, design teams, clients, and media. During her tenure, she managed high-profile projects including work with the New Orleans Saints, the NFL, the Caesars Superdome, and ASM Global, overseeing not only global brand positioning but also crisis communications, stakeholder engagement, and public relations campaigns across multiple platforms and audiences.

Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery
 
Julia LeBlanc, through her firm JLA Communications, has served as the strategic communications and branding lead for the Sulzer Group, a women-owned disaster recovery and grant management firm. In addition to leading the full redevelopment of the company’s website—including content creation, design direction, and image sourcing—she played a key role in business development, managing RFP responses and proposals for municipalities, state governments, and FEMA-funded projects. Julia elevated the firm’s brand voice and communications strategy to position it competitively alongside national firms, while also streamlining internal processes to support growth and operational efficiency.
